"I've had a dozen students buy these fiddles. Some new fiddles sound great initially but begin to sound "woofy" after a few years. These fiddles sound warm and rich from the beginning and mature into amazing sounding instruments. I have students who have been playing one for five years and they just keep sounding better." –Brian Wicklund

"It's important to play a mandolin that's decent for a beginner. Cheap mandolins are hard to play and sound like a toy. I had been looking for a good, affordable mandolin for years. At a bluegrass tradeshow in Nashville, there were literally hundreds of mandolins by dozens of makers. These mandolins looked, sounded and played equal to or better than instruments three or four times the price." –Brian Wicklund
